Ethan arrived today, November 20th weighing less than 5 pounds. He is healthy but will stay in the hospital for about 3 weeks. The Japanese doctors want to "fatten" him up. More news to follow......

Wonderful, fabulous, happy news! Thanks for sharing it right away!!! After the Bullet Train ride, do you think you can find a spot to upload photos? Like, one EVERY DAY? :-) That way, we can ALL visit Ethan an hour a day....
I'm sure those Japanese nurses would be completely swayed by the request of your crazy gaijin friend..."oh, tanya thinks you can just let me use the computer here at the nurses station. No? Was that air sucking through teeth?" The Japanese love me so....

Oh , WOW! Guess it serves me right for not reading your blog....I had no idea you were adding a new little someone to your family. Tanya passed on the news to me and I just had to say hi!! I am SO excited for you. How cool is your news! Ethan was born two days after Joseph..how funny that Scott and Andrew and now Joseph and Ethan are so close in age. Congratulations on welcoming Ethan home. We were considering naming Joseph Ethan at some point. That would have been too funny if they had ended up with the same name. Can't wait to see more pics.
