Finally...felted!

I have had these slippers knit up for quite some time. Almost every phone conversation with my Aunt Sue Sue includes "have you felted your slippers?" Finally today, during our conversation I was able to say "yes, finally". I love felting...it truly is an amazing thing!!

These were knit using Cascade 220 yarn, I don't know the colorway. The pattern is from Fiber Trends (AC-33).

PATTY!!! Those are GREAT -- absolutely GREAT! I would never have believed that the 'elfin' ;-) shape in the first photos would become the perfect-slipper-form through felting.

You're right: it's magic.

See how I stalk your blog? Hardly any time goes by at all before I know that you've posted. :-)

Great, great for you! Thank you also for listing the pattern and wool -- I was thinking through the whole thing: what pattern?!?!!? what pattern?!!??!?

OK, at first glance of the photo (and without reading the content), I thought that perhaps you had enrolled in Clown College or something! Glad to see the explanation. You know that I know NOTHING about all this knitting and such, but I am always impressed by your efforts and creativity. Of course, I do LOVE the color!
