NEX BAZAAR

Today is the first day of the fall bazaar! I am going solo. Andrew will spend the day with his daddy. I'll update with photos of all the goods later this weekend. If you are in Virginia, here is a little weekend outing you can look forward to...http://www.fallfiberfestival.org/ Anyone going? Tanya????

I saw the ad for that Fiber Festival and thought about it...hmmmm.....:-) I picked up a Country Register for you yesterday; just for your "fiber shop in the country" plans someday. With 3-5 years in Japan, you should be able to accumulate the finest, most diverse collection of Japanese fabrics and fibers ALONE for stocking your shelves. Just think: even if you went exclusively with yukata fabric, Patty. How cool...how cool..it would be in bundles in your shop. The someday shop.

Very much looking forward to the bazaar report. And hearing your deja vu stories of maybe looking at various cabinets and saying out loud (to no one in particular) "that is the ugliest piece of furniture I have ever seen in my life..." One woman's trash is another woman's treasure. :-) tanya

I was telling someone about the fall bazaar the other day..about winding all the way up the garage..then paying at the topa nd winding all the way down again inevitablybuying more stuff on the way down and then winding back up to pick it up and so on and on and on.....but oh so much fun. Hope you find lots of cool stuff. And speaking of fiber..my silk scarf hand woven by my english studetns mom has a little run right in the middle....any ideas on how to get that fixed...when I was there it happened to a different scarf and she took it to her mom and had it fixed....Tanya..ever attended the Waterford Art fair? The way coolest art fair in VA. ...I will be there there next Sunday...
